Publisher's Synopsis
Double bill of comedy features following men with unusual vocations. In 'Tooth Fairy' (2010) Dwayne Johnson (formerly known as 'The Rock') plays Derek Thompson, a hard-hitting hockey player nicknamed 'The Tooth Fairy' due to his reputation for knocking his opponents' teeth out. When Derek insults a young fan, he's sentenced to three weeks' hard labour as a real tooth fairy. He must dress himself in traditional tooth fairy attire, including a tutu, wings and magic wand, and carry out all the customary tooth fairy tasks. Initially disillusioned with his new vocation, Derek soon begins to adapt to the role and begins to realise his own dreams and ambitions. 'Meet Dave' (2008) stars Eddie Murphy as Dave Ming Chang, a peculiar man who has recently arrived in New York City and seems uncomfortable in his own body. The reason for this is that 'Dave' is not a man at all; he's a human spaceship modelled on the image of the ship's miniature-sized captain. The captain's crew of humanoid aliens have boarded the vessel in an attempt to save their home planet. Unfortunately, their mission is put on hold when the ship becomes smitten with a beautiful Earth woman called Gina (Elizabeth Banks).
