It is hard and many times often difficult to even know if you will wake up tomorrow. I like to feel that my story is different at least, I would hope others would attempt to understand they too can make it through. I have written this novel because I need people to understand the life I lived while going through Breast Cancer.I have a good support team and I am proud of them all. They are unique in their own way and they helped me all the way through my battle of Breast Cancer. I would not have made it through without them.Diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. It may not seem hard to others going through a higher level, but to me it is extremely difficult. I did not believe what has happen to me and how did I get breast cancer. You better believe, I was upset. My physician reassured me that they will be there to assist all the way and that I had a good medical team. Still I did not understand what to expect so I did do a lot of crying.I live in Detroit, Michigan, and I worked for many years as a corporate legal assistant. During this time, many people including myself were working paycheck to paycheck without medical insurance. So many of us did not have time to take off from work to see a physician, because missing a day means we would not get paid.As I fight my Breast Cancer battle, I would like to tell you this story.
