The following addresses were given at Oxford in the spring and summer of 1894, and are reprinted with but tri?ing altera tion. It may seem super?uous to add another to the many existing works on the Lord's Prayer; but a very slight change of point of view often gives such a different aspect of any object that it seems worth while to preserve it; and in the present case some freshness of treat ment has been secured by the light thrown on various petitions of the Lord's Prayer.
