Publisher's Synopsis
The Imperium has been at war with Vlibb Hegemony for centuries. Forged from generations of war, Grand Admiral Scanlon begins a new training programme, Operation Night Owl, made up by the best handpicked youths to fight their war. Daxton Thorne, who was exiled from the Imperium by his father, is one of those cadets. Now he is returning ten years later, a new person and ready to become what his nation needs most-a saviour. Little to anyone's knowledge, a group are operating in the shadows of the Imperium. Their separatist agenda sets to derail everything the cadets are training to protect. This group is brought to the ISC Asteria, where the new cadets are receiving passage to their training academy.
