On motion of Mr. Seward, the Board proceeded to the election of one of their number as a Trustee for Purdue University, the same to serve during the unexpired term of Jacob Mutz. Mr. L. B. Custer was elected such trustee. The Board then proceeded to elect two of their number to serve as Trustees of Purdue University for three years, from August 26, 1883. Mr. Samuel Hargrove and Mr. W.
