This autobiography is a record of my nursing career, from 1978 to 2014. It encapsulates a unique insight into nursing from a clinician's viewpoint. I have endeavoured to convey what it was really like to work within the NHS, and the many changes that have affected my working life. Right from the start of my career in the first chapter there are interesting, thought provoking and funny incidents that have occurred, and I hope the content will appeal to a wide range of readers.
