"Third Dimension" is an intermediate level course for adults and young adult learners of English. It uses a variety of topics, characters and situations to stimulate students' interest and to give them the means to talk and write about themselves.;"Third Dimension" leads directly into "Fourth Dimension". Together, "Third" and "Fourth Dimension" take students up to a level equivalent to the Cambridge First Certificate.;This write-in-workbook is for use alongside the "Third Dimension" coursebook and contains exercises which can be done at home or in class. The topics covered include grammar, which revises and practises main grammar items in the coursebook; reading, which focuses on specific reading skills such as reading for gist or specific information; writing such items as reports and letters; dictionary work to help students with spelling and vocabulary; and conversation exercises which focus on the language used in coversations. It also includes tests and puzzles and exercises designed to help students learn more effectively.
