Publisher's Synopsis
Think Like a Caveman is a short treatise on living well by listening to one's natural instincts. The first story is about Caveman Carl and the discovery of fear. Carl is a content caveman who understands his place in the natural world. He is a piece that belongs. Carl is happy to live each day, moment by moment, being a man-the creature that reasons. One day, however, as Carl is seeking for food, he encounters another caveman who threatens his food supply. After an ugly battle, Carl feels a new emotion-fear. Carl finds that fear is a debilitating thought-process which not only steals his joy but his ability to reason as well. The author uses a stylistic combination of story and personal memoir to inspire his readers.
