Leximed Dictionary of Dentistry - a comprehensive and up-to-date dental dictionary
This book was created for users from the dental field as well as translators. More than 25,000 entries, subentries, and illustrative phrases cover the main areas of dentistry and related sciences.
The entries were selected in collaboration with dentists and orthodontists, and on the basis of an analysis of the international dental literature. More than 2,000 illustrative phrases, phrasal verbs, and idiomatic expressions from all areas of clinical and office-based dentistry greatly enhance the quantity and quality of the dictionary. Like all members of the Leximed family, the Dictionary of Dentistry excels through linguistic details such as syllabification (45,000 entries), irregular plural forms, and pronunciation of English main entries (15,000 entries).
The anatomical table in the appendix is based on the recently published International Anatomical Terminology (Terminologia Anatomica).
