Publisher's Synopsis
Amanda and her squad thought they were done with the New Orleans serial murders. But there were three killers and two vanished and are in the wind. Amanda thus considers this a case not quite closed and this continues to bother her immensely especially since the trio, now duo, targeted in one way or another every member of her team. Mardi Gras 2019 finds them back in the City that Care Forgot and determined to wreak havoc not only on the squad but the entire population lining the streets and yelling for throws. It's time for a show-down. She also has taken on a part-time position with the Covington Police Department as a cold case investigator, something she hates but can't leave undone. A strange disappearance in Covington intrigues her and she agrees to help out "just this once."
