Publisher's Synopsis
The title They That Wait comes from one of my favorite Bible verses, Isaiah 40:31. I experienced its meaning starting in 1979 when I became legally blind from histoplasmosis. The disease ended my job and all my needlework hobbies. I prayed and prayed for something meaningful to do with the time in my new life. Finally, in December of 1986, with the help of the Holy Spirit, I began writing poetry for the Lord. I was 62 at that time. I've since added memories and secular topics, but I like the inspirational ones best. It has been a learning process and I'm still learning. My heartfelt gratitude goes to my daughter, brother, and niece for their assistance throughout the years.
