INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION The college students are the future pillars of India. Academic achievement is the one of the challenges faced by college students. The academic achievement of college students may be influenced by many factors. The external factors may be technology development, social networks, societal problems, demographic factors, finance, etc. The internal factors are emotional intelligence, self-efficacy and psychological wellbeing. Now-a-days companies which provide job to the students, mainly select them based on education qualification. It is the basic eligibility to attend the interview. Identifying the most influencing factors and to nourish the positive factors for better academic achievement and to be successful in life. Students are more aware of employment opportunities in abroad, our country and in their locality. Some students aim state government jobs, Industrial jobs, start a new business, becoming a dealer of any product, importer and exporter of any product, agriculture, etc. Whatever may be the position they hold, they have to know their strength and weakness in academics as well as emotions. Then only they can adjust with other people and work in a team. Handling conflict, maintaining social skill, motivating others, attitude, body language plays a vital role in the success of an individual. Academic knowledge can be acquired by education. Life skills have to be educated and practiced along with the education. This will lead to success both in academics and in personal life. By continuous learning a student can have better academic achievement. A big challenge before a student is how to maintain a good relationship with others, such as teachers, elders, relations and society. Because a nuclear family gives a little experience about life. Both mother and father are employed. If a student needs affection or he is stressed, he doesn't know to whom he has to discuss about it and find solutions. The student is ready to adopt a change in the environment but not ready to change their behaviour the reasons are new technology, loneliness nuclear family and education,
