Publisher's Synopsis
Alberto's happy life went back to normal until he heard his wife's voice in the night. Nefast grew up in peace because he had never met anyone brave enough to face the Devil. It took four men to save the village from the ghost. John only wanted one thing: "Sly Satan, you talk and confuse me like a commoner". The well of St. Patrick stopped famines but people feared the damned would come out of the well if he didn't fill it with water.
A group of young men decided to stop sacrilege and protect the honour of their country. Giovannino was given the name "Without Fear" out of envy and irony.
