Publisher's Synopsis
It can be quite daunting to pick up a large one-thousand page book about a new topic, for this reason I have tried to retain this book to only a few hundred pages to create a light introduction into this topic. I feel that it is important for people to be educated about the issues within the zoo industry so that they can make ethical decisions about which zoos to support, or in fact whether they should support them at all. In this book i hope to do exactly that and try inform people more about these controversies and if they are truly as accurate as we are led to believe. I hope to try and achive this in a non-bias manner, as the purpose of this book isn't to change minds but instead to look at the zoo industry from every angle and help people form a factual opinion.
