Tone marking was deliberately avoided in this text as this Book Two was mainly designed for beginners to understand, read, write and carry out simple conversations in Yoruba language. It has been tested and confirmed that anyone who can read simple English will be able to go through this part of the book with minimum effort without the tone marks. After having mastered the first part, the now more confident reader and speaker of the Yoruba language can be introduced to Book Three of this series
