Some one has ventured to suggest how very interesting it would be to witness the proceedings, if Paul's advice to the church of Corinth were widely applied in relation to the subject of mis sions, and women everywhere were advised that if they would learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home (i Cor. Xiv Indeed, besides affording not a little diversion, in all likelihood it might, likewise, lead to revolutionary results of far reaching effect, if the good women of the church universal were to adopt this sound Scriptural injunction and set about catechising their husbands at home as to the principles, programme, progress and prospects of the work of the church of Christ throughout all the world.
