The Works have been revised and prepared for the press by Rev. Mortimer Blake, of Taunton, whose well-known industry and critical acumen are a sufficient guaranty of the correctness of the copy. To him also are the public indebted for the new in dexes which accompany this edition. There is a general index of the topics, one of the texts amended, and one of the au thor's definitions of theological terms. This last will be found of great importance to those who would understand his language as he meant to be understood.
