This book is the memoir of a young woman who, having lost all of her family members at a young age, goes in search of a God she can truly believe in. Even at the tender age of four years old, Madeleine prayed to Jesus. Being born into and raised in a religious Jewish family, this was as forbidden as it was a radical thing for her to do. Following the death of both of her parents and only brother, Madeleine was free to pursue her dream of becoming a dancer, an actress, a playwright. She studied Hinduism, traveled to the desert of New Mexico, meditated in small adobe churches, read the New Testament, had revelation and miracles occur.
