Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Whole Works of the Rev. John Hurrion, Late Minister of the Gospel in London, Vol. 3 of 3: Now First Collected; To Which Is Prefixed, the Life of the Author; Containing the Scripture Doctrine of the Real Personality and the Internal and Extraordinary Work of the Holy Spirit, Stated and Defended, in Sixteen Sermons
The Holy Spirit is God, is no where in express terms found in scripture: To which it may he replied, that we no where read these express words in scripture, the Father is God and yet enough is said in other words, to prove him so to be. In like manner, enough is said in my text, and in many other places, to prove the Holy Spirit to be God, as I hope will evidently appear hereafter.
