For confirmation Of the doctrine, I need only repeat the words Of the text, though many other scriptures might be adduced, which, to gain time, I wave at present, Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder.

In discoursing of which doctrine, through divine assistance, I shall endeavour to do these things.
