Chapters cover outpatient topics that receive little coverage in the original Washington Manual®—lipid disorders; complaint-specific therapeutics (e.g. cough); office management of cancer patients (including screening, hospice, and supportive care); musculoskeletal pain; women's and men's health; dermatologic problems; anxiety and mood disorders; and dementia. Emphasis is on what the clinician needs to know at key decision points in a case.
