Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Views of an Angry Man
Mouthpiece of his views, not to deprive the world of them. I have kept (so faras possible) to his own diction, and have added (it will be seen) no literary ele gancies or ornaments. The notes were sent in the first place to the Westminster Gazette. I should like to correct my friend's views with my own brighter opinions, but am unwilling to irritate him in his adversity. He will be at large before very long.
