Doctor, or 'Doc', is an adorable, precocious and highly politically-incorrect young Bengal cat with the ability to talk, reflect and act almost human. With his salty tongue, incendiary opinions and high ethics, from the moment he arrives in the Roberts' household in rural Butte County in Northeastern California, Doc becomes the center of the family. He quickly shows an interest in difficult, even dangerous adventures, from tackling Mount Everest without oxygen to trying out for and winning a job with the San Francisco Forty Niner football team, to even saving the family home from the infamous Humboldt Fire of '08 after everyone else had fled to safety.
