Publisher's Synopsis

The three friends, Bobo, Bebe, and Bomboy, steal away from school to a lonely river called Otammiri. Their intention is a fun-filled day, far away from their school and their woeful teachers; a day on their own, attempting to catch on fishing hooks their beloved little diamond heads. But unknown to the three friends and truants, the unexpected awaits them at the lonely river Otammiri. Aguiyi the violent and dreaded madman is on the prowl. Yes, Aguiyi the flesh-eater roams free in the bushes of Otammiri. He is dark, tall, and muscular. His body is naked except for a dirty, greasy rag that hangs loosely around his waist. His body is dirty and unkempt; and his bushy hair and beards are full of grease and filth. The filth causes them to twist into long dreadful locks that cover half of his face. Around his ankles and wrists are iron rings from which dangle broken pieces of chains once used to keep him from attacking people. Holding a long iron pipe in his right hand, he stands at the edge of the bush and gazes at the three friends through two dark and sunken eyes. He is in every respect like the name he bears. His name, Aguiyi, literarily means the crocodile.
