The inti mate relation of the fourth and fifth parts will be readily under stood from the respective descriptions. The sixth part deals with the theory of the jet machines. Although the book is intended for the industrial engineer, it is of equal value as a text-book, since it gives also the fundamental principles, besides the latest experimental data and applications.
