Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Touchstone of Common Assurances, Vol. 2: Being a Plain and Familiar Treatise on Conveyancing
The disseisor and disseisee may join together and ex change the land whereof the disseisin was made, with a stranger for other land but if it be made out of the land, and before the entry of the disseisee, it shall not bind the disseisee, for he may avoid it. And a disseisor cannot exchange the land he hath gotten by disseisin with the disseisee for other land for this exchange is void, unless it be by indenture, or fine, that it may work by way of estoppel (it).
