The adventure to save their planets continues as the main four set out toward their next destination: the stars above the hill.
The Ruler of the Deep instructed them to bring back two stars. One that will save the planets, and one for reasons unknown.
However, the mission is complicated by a dispute between the four rulers, and it involves the star the Ruler of the Deep asked for. Not everyone wants the planets to be saved, and the stakes are raised as they encounter the Ruler of the Sky, who will stop at nothing to take the stars back.
On top of it all, Noah is grappling with the decision he has to make if they save the planets: stay on Fortun with Celeste and leave his cousin, newfound friend, and cat behind, or go back to his planet, leaving the woman of his dreams behind.
