The House, on the Motion of Sir Samuel Ro milly, having resolved itself into a Committee on the Bill for taking away Corruption of Blood, as a consequence of Attainder of Felony and of Treason, Mr. Yorke méved, that the words and of Treason, should be omitted. The Amendment was opposed by Sir James Mackintosh; and sup ported by the Solicitor General (mr. Serjeant Shepherd).
