This book addresses racism and racist theories. Racism in the modern era is often focused on shared expectations of biological distinctions between individuals. They may take the shape of social behavior, behaviors, or values, and political structures that rank different races as superior or inferior to one another. Racist politics may be correlated with societal elements such as nativism, xenophobia, otherness, segregation, hierarchical ranking, and supremacism in democratic structures.
