The Small Space Beyond Fear is the story of an African American professional, who, while on the surface appears to epitomize success, is weighed down by several secrets. Meet the main character, Kingston, who, despite his Ivy League education and professional accomplishments, is treated like a common criminal after being stopped by the police for a routine traffic violation. That event marks a pivotal point from which he is unable to return to the illusion of his comfortable life. This story sheds light behind the veil of someone who shows up one way in public, but is heavily burdened in private.
