Publisher's Synopsis
The need for healthcare is universal across the globe, be it wartime or peace. All human beings benefit from proper healthcare and maintenance, which includes personal responsibilities in regard to diet, exercise, sleep, intoxicants or recreational substances. No culture or religious affiliation is immune to these realities. Roughly one third of Americans are retired on Social Security. This demographic does not turn on a dime. They hold many cultural biases that are inbred, and hard to let go of.
So why do cars have steering wheels? Generally, one third of the American population are financially secure, other than healthcare options available. Their home, cars, even that big motorhome, are paid for. They do not worry about where their next meal is coming from. They can recall what they were doing when they heard that President John Kennedy had been assassinated. Dining out and shopping have already changed and will again. This is why cars have steering wheels, Consumer Demand. Those that can actually pay for a new car want them to be "the way they've always been".
Of course, cars today do not require a steering wheel. Imagine; no drunk drivers, no rear end collisions, or driving off the road due to inattention. No run stop lights or signs. Removing steering wheels will save lives. A close friend reads a book a week in her daily commute. Who's to say, book sales could increase. Open your mind to "what is coming down the road". Consider making some changes yourself. Support what brilliant minds come up with, for their future.
