Publisher's Synopsis
The Silent Cicada: A boy named Joseito recognized in a park on his friends who abused cicadas. His friends tied to the cicadas with string to make them sing. Joseito noticed a cicada silent because she did not want to sing. Then he throws the cicada in a pocket and he takes her home. When he closes his eyes to sleep, he begins to hear the song of the cicada that says: "Let me where you found me." Foki, the Mongrel Dog: An old man, father of two children, is fortunate to receive a gift: a puppy from a fine wool, whose skin was coveted at markets. The puppy grows and disappears its beautiful appearance contrary to the ugliness of an adult dog. The sons get marry and the old man is left alone. He will face a curse because of the loss of Foki.
