Publisher's Synopsis
To All Members Of Humanity
Dear Friends, Every fraction of a minute you, me, and all other living beings on this planet- the Earth, inhale oxygen of which 98% comes from plants and 80% of our food gets from plants. The entire day and night, 24 hours and 7 days a week in our lifetime, we survived because of the benevolent services of these plants and their habitat- the Forests. Thanks to the pioneering work showed by Jagadish Chandra Bose at the Royal Society in London, England, in 1901. Sir J.C. Bose proved that plants are like any other life form. They have a definite life cycle, and a reproductive system, and are sensitive to pain and affection like humans. Now we understand that plants are sentient beings, capable of feeling and awareness. Just as we need oxygen to survive, we must recognize the crucial role of plants in sustaining life on Earth. Friends and all fellow citizen, We can survive for a few days without food and water, but can we survive even for a few minutes without oxygen? Have you given a thought to this life form of plants which is our lifeline? If not, I urge you to connect with plants on a deeper level, acknowledging their importance and asking how we can serve them. This intuitive connection can guide us towards selflessness and positive action, fostering a deeper respect for all living beings. I have experienced and documented this in my first book "Self-Mastery & Enlightenment through the Kingdom of Plants" Let us reflect on the critical role of plants during the COVID-19 pandemic when the struggle for oxygen underscored our dependence on nature. By cultivating empathy and reverence for plants, we can combat deforestation and mitigate the effects of climate change. Your mere feeling for the plants, will not allow you to tear or cut any plant anymore and you will get genuine affection and more positive thoughts for them. If all of us together follow this as the Japanese and the Bhutanese respect and love the plants, there will not be any climate change, global warming, cloud bursting, floods, and drought. In such a situation, protecting our Mother Earth from further deforestation would require a series of actions at different levels.- The World leaders together pressurize to end wars between countries and stopping the genocide of humanity by destroying plants and forests.
- The header of each country should ensure that at least 1/3rd area of that country is year marked for plants and forests to maintain self-sufficiency in ecological balance.
- Every citizen should take part in protecting plants of their neighbourhood. To engage the younger generation, each school should teach a special syllabus and provide practical training in plant knowledge and cultivation through nurseries.
- WANGARI MAATHAI -the famous Noble laureate said "I'm very conscious of the fact that you can't do it alone. It's teamwork. When you do it alone, you risk when you are no longer there. Nobody else will do it."
Further, she said... "UNTIL YOU DIG A HOLE,
YOU PLANT A TREE,
YOU WATER IT AND MAKE IT
SURVIVE,
YOU HAVEN'T DONE A THING.
YOU ARE JUST TALKING."
- Finally, all of us must think that our survival would be intake without the flow of oxygen if each of us are not concerned about the protection, conservation and augmentation of plants and their home -the forests.
