Publisher's Synopsis
Chris McGregor is a teenager from a dysfunctional, somewhat loving family. He has always been a good and trustworthy boy, adored by anyone who knew his name. But all that changes when he moves to a new city and meets James Smith, a handsome older man, willing to do the unthinkable to win Chris's heart. Their adventure, full of passionate moments, gets derailed by another person Chris meets through an online dating platform: Mr. Ainsworth, a man surrounded by wealth, disposed to share part of his fortune with the boy. Dating both men simultaneously puts Chris in a situation in which he eventually needs to decide whether to stay with the man who has proven sincere love to him or to continue with a life full of extravagance and comfort. As a result of his choice, things begin to lose their spark and Chris finds himself being the prime suspect of a murder. Consequently, everyone he had ever loved leaves him alone to face his demise.
