Two boys, Daan and Bas, go with their parents on holiday to Drenthe. When they find themselves in the middle of mysterious circumstances, their vacation quickly turns into an exciting adventure. Two gun-toting thugs pose a threat. Luckily, Daan and Bas find help from a few very powerful friends. Together, they provide the two crooks with the shock of their lives. Hans Pilon (1954) has had the pleasure of working for more than 30 years in primary schools. If you ask him what he thinks is important, his answer is always: ""That kids read and especially that they like to read."" In 2002, he wrote a story that he has been reading in class and every year the children ask him when he is going to publish it.
