The first two books of the series take place in the mountains of western North Carolina where Sophia and Juniper spend their summer vacations with Dad.
Books 3 and 4, "The Secret at the Lighthouse" and "Dolphins to the Rescue" find Sophia and Juniper back in their home in Miami, Florida, where new and exciting adventures await them.
