Publisher's Synopsis
This special issue consists of a set of papers originally presented by the respective authors as participants in a symposium titled, "The Science and Politics of Recovered Memories." The symposium was organized by this journal's editor to provide a forum for the voices of people who have most often been stifled in the debate that has been characterized as the "memory wars": the thoughtful clinicians and advocates for the genuine victims. The authors represented in this special issue are well-credentialed, highly credible, and have meticulously documented their positions.
