Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from The Romance of Daude De Pradas on the Four Cardinal Virtues: Edited With Brief Notes
Whatever may have been the merit or success of his songs, there is great reason to suspect his fitness for the religious life. There are passages in the song on the death of Uc Brunet which are anything but reverent in their tone. It seems there fore not improbable that the poem on the virtues was the work of his later years and the result of more mature re?ection; its general tone is certainly moral rather than religious.
