The double symbolism used by the Feathered Serpent is considered allegoric to the dual nature of the deity, where being feathered represents its divine nature or ability to fly to reach the skies and being a serpent represents its human nature or ability to creep on the ground among other animals of the Earth
In many South and Central American countries, as well as Mexico, there are oral traditions of a great teacher or teachers that had light skin, full beards and likely arrived at about 100 AD. This teacher or teachers taught the local people about advanced agriculture, astronomy, metallurgy, and other arts and sciences. Most stories state that this visitor or visitors arrived from the east. This book seeks to see if all of these stories are describing the same person or persons.
