When a man or woman comes face to face with the call to follow Jesus through hearing the gospel, a response is required. Regardless of how the person chooses, ultimately they will respond in one way or another. This book intends to communicate what the scriptures teach is the appropriate response to the grace of God through the work of Christ. We will take an in-depth look at the gospel from Genesis all the way through the New Testament and explain the context in which God sent His Son to become our redemption from the curse of sin. From there, we will examine the work of Christ, our position without Christ, and aspects of following Christ through a life of obedience and commitment. We will also show how the end goal of Christianity is being conformed to the image of Christ and living for the gory of God.
