That the Secretary be authorized and directed to make a collection of statistical and descriptive information of the resources of the State of Oregon in accordance With Resolution No. 9 of the Legislature of 1891, at as early 8 day as possible.
In compliance with said order, the Secretary at once commenced to collect data and engage competent and reliable contributors.
