Publisher's Synopsis
I decided to publish a book that can relate to all veterans and public servants. When I started writing my books I was involved with some time consuming reconstruction issues. My poems are the thoughts, feelings, and experiences of myself and other veterans. Before each poem there is a short write up that explains what gave me the inspiration. You will be drawn into the emotions of nightmares, night terrors, travesties of war, suicide, family and love. My hope is for others to walk away with a better understanding of what veterans suffer from as well as public servants and victims of crimes. Listening to each other at times can be difficult, it is very hard work to make progress with. I can only hope and pray that what I have written will help many people understand what many are going through.
