This is a 34 page children's picture book intended for ages 3-6 years. It is a presentation of the passage of the four seasons as they relate to a specific tree in rural Iowa. The images are photographs taken over several years by author Michael W. Barnard. The simple text was written by Barnard. Michael has worked as an artist and film maker for his entire adult life. His award-winning films and artworks have been exhibited around the world. "The Red Tree" is Barnard's second book.
