Practical theology takes human experience very seriously and brings it into dialogue with other sources of revelation and the teaching documents of the Church. Although the human experience is fluid and must not be taken alone in searching for truth, charismatic renewal spirituality is nevertheless experiential. As a spiritual being, man seeks and expresses his yearning for something greater than himself, for something outside himself. He seeks meaning of his existence and answers to life's questions. Nigerians are not foreign to this questing of the human soul; hence it is no surprise that many seek out the charismatic endowed priests.
