Among the papers listed in the Bibliography Of Connecticut Geology (state Geological and Natural History Survey Bulletin 8, 1907) are many relating to glaciation. Most Of them deal with Connecticut as a whole or with principles illustrated by glacial phenomena within the State. The present report is the result Of the study of a relatively small area and is based on field observa tions made in 1909 and 1910, supplemented by material taken from a thesis presented -to Yale University.
