Each of us have a divine purpose. We may not always understand where our life is going but we can be assured that we are protected by God. We have the power of choice and each of us tend to see God in a different way. Some people believe that God is so distant he is unreachable. Some people believe he is in our heart and shower him with deep respect and reverence. Some people see God who is out to get them; that God is just waiting for them to make a mistake and he'll pounce. They feel a pressure that they can't live up to what God wants of them. If you feel that God wants you to hurt and not enjoy life then you have the wrong image of God. If we read Scripture we'll discover that God is a loving mentor and friend. God is your most prized mentor. God is always there wanting you to succeed in every aspect of your life and he is your constant source of strength. He lifts you up when you fall, encourages you when you stumble from your spiritual path, and pushes you forward when you are about to give up on yourself. Always remember: God Loves and wherever we are, God is! At the end of each chapter are a group of questions for your Spiritual Growth. Follow each one throughout and by the end you will have discovered your personal growth through God's love.
