Will you be my interpreter? What I should like is a perfectly frank and free record of your impressions at a series of concerts, written, if possible, while your memory is fresh, and just putting down what occurs to you. The Promenades are just the thing for my purpose, as they cover the ground well, and include most of the things we argued about in my day.
On my part, I propose to supply you with a season ticket for this year's concerts.
