The principles of our Protestant Constitution, nay of the Reformation, tremble in the balance, say some. Don't raise that silly cry, say others, kick out of the way the dead horse of Popery, says Mr. Spurgeon. It seems to me, says our shrewd Premier, that the real cry is no Protestantism.
