Publisher's Synopsis
Hermann Fictuld (1700 - c. 1777) was one of the later leaders of the Order of the Golden and Rosy Cross, and a prolific writer on alchemy, and related matters.
In this work he takes various important stories from the Bible, the Creation of the World, the Creation of Man, the Garden of Eden, the stories of Noah and the Flood, of Lot and Sodom and Gomorrah, and interleaves into these an alchemical narrative.
Thus these Biblical events are seen as stages of the alchemical process.
This work adds to Adam McLean's previous translations of Fictuld's Twelve Royal Palaces of Hermetic Wisdom, The Mystical Cabbala of Nature, Chaos, and the Allegorical Dream.
