Publisher's Synopsis

Welcome to the world of Power Station construction in the 1960's and the specialised workforce who built them. These were a unique breed of men who generally travelled from contract to contract within the industry, attracted by the high wages. For many, this fuelled a lifestyle which generally included alcohol abuse and the pursuit of woman, who themselves were attracted to men who had plenty of money to spend on them. However, many had husbands, who were not amused! This novel follows the adventures and misfortunes of some of these men as they get themselves into various scrapes, from which they generally manage to extricate themselves. The author worked on Power Station contracts himself and saw this way of life at first hand. There is no strong language in this novel, although it was endemic. However, all the other expletives the workforce used are there, along with some sexual content.
